Abstract

In the contemporary era, the use of cursing and offensive language has become increasingly prevalent,
especially with the rise of digital communication platforms and social media. Such language not only
reflects negative emotions but also influences social behavior, leading to conflicts, misunderstandings,
and a decline in mutual respect within families, workplaces, and communities. The normalization of
abusive speech can foster a culture of aggression and disrespect, affecting both personal relationships
and broader societal harmony. This study also highlights the reformative aspects, emphasizing the role
of ethical teachings, religious guidance, and social education in curbing the use of harmful language. By
promoting awareness, constructive communication, and moral responsibility, individuals and societies
can mitigate the adverse effects of cursing while fostering empathy, respect, and positive interpersonal
relations. Efforts toward reform can transform communication patterns, encouraging a more harmonious
and respectful social environment.
